This week school children in Vienna are having the opportunity to have a look inside the world of business as part of the "Children’s business Week" held in Vienna from the 23rd to the 27th of July.
Eighty successful businesses are opening their doors to 4,000 possible business leaders of the future to give them firs-thand knowledge of the world of business, company backgrounds as well as information on how a business works.
The project organised by Media Guide Events offers presentations, discussions and workshops.
The organisers of the "Children’s business Week" said: "The sooner that children get practical experience in the world of business the better they will find their way into business and understand it."
Sonja Sarközi, from Easybank, said: "Children are spontaneous, open and curious to learn about the world. These are characteristics our world urgently needs."
Companies such as Uniqua, Toni’s Freilandeier, Neuroth, Kotanyi and Radatz are putting on presentations for children.
The children do not go into companies but the companies come to them and tell them about the business world.
"It is our aim to put children and business in contact with each other."
Children can choose from eighty presentations.
Initiator Nikolaus Angermayr said: "Unfortunately many branches have completely forgotten that people are at the centre of business. It is important to develop creative, independent thinking, responsible citizens for business."
Participation is free.
