Pearly Gates beckon for one new owner
A Porsche 911 belonging to Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates is to go under the hammer in Vienna, Austria, today (June 2).
The 1979 pearlescent turquoise Turbo model - bought brand new just four years after Gates set up his fledgling software business in 1975 - is expected to sell for up to 50,000 GBP.
Dorotheum Auction House says the car comes complete with letters to and from Microsoft and Porsche and the original Washington State USA registration documents.
